with triangular gilt brass frame signed as per title, the index arm with bubble level attached and arc divided 0-60º-- 3¼in. (8.3cm.) high; together with a baleen-covered six-draw pocket telescope signed Bywater & Co, Liverpool with owner's name Thomas Winder; and a ¼-hour sand glass in brass case with label stating it was used for soundings aboard R.M.S. Mauretania
