Condition Report
Gallant Nelson: both impressions have been mounted on card supports. One has been trimmed to the platemark. Both have light-staining. Admiral Duncan: mounted on a card support, trimmed to the platemark, areas of rubbing and a pink stain in the upper image. The Death of Captain Alexander Hood has wide margins, with spotting throughout. There are handling creases, short tears and water-staining in the lower title field. Captain Faulkner has been trimmed to the platemark and mounted on a paper support. There are several grey ink stains in the centre of the image. The Ambuscade: trimmed on, or within, the platemark, with some loss in the title field, a long tear in the left image, mounted on a paper support.
