A BRASS TREAD PLATE FROM THE MINESWEEPER H.M.S. LYME REGIS (1942)
of typical form and set into a wooden board for wall hanging, overall measurements -- 9½ x 31in. (24 x 79cm.)

A 'Bangor' Class vessel laid down by Lobnitz & Co. Ltd, Scotland in September 1941 and commissioned under the pennant J193 in June 1942, she was scrapped in June 1948 in Sunderland.
