Globe in fine overall condition. Apparently unrestored, with partial areas of original varnish surviving. Small area of paper loss west of the Galapagos, below the Equator, erasing the 'Sea' from 'The Great South Sea'.
Case in strong condition. Some minor warping left of hinge. Retaining original hooks. Overall images of both globe and case available on website.
