Name ship of this class of two, Centurion was designed for long-range cruising from the China Station of which she became Flagship. Her most famous Commander was a youthful Captain J.R. Jellicoe who was badly wounded during the Boxer Rebellion when saw action at the Battle of Beicang. She was sold for breaking in 1910.
