LOG BOOK FOR THE STEAM YACHT HEBE, 1875-1876
containing a record of the proceedings on board, commanded by Rowland Jones and belonging to Sir Watkin Williams Wynn who bought it from Charles McIver of the Cunard Shipping Line, 1 November 1875-2 May 1876, 62ff and several blank leaves at the end, from 8 November 1875 – probably the end of the log book there is a printed itinerary of Sir Watkin and family on a cruise in the Mediterranean visiting Gibraltar, Marseille, Ajaccio, Malta, Corfu, Syracuse, Alexandria, Jerusalem and Cyprus, Commander Jones mentions little of this, being more concerned with the weather, original calf-backed pictorial boards -- 12½ x 10¼in. (32 x 26cm.)
