captured Lieutenant Chad's Official Report from on board the U.S.S. Constitution, dated 31 December 1812, it is with deep regret that I write to you... that his Majesty's ship Java is no more... the wreck was then set on fire, 80cm. column space, compiled in a complete issue of The Globe, 21 April 1813, red duty stamp, 4p. -- 19½ x 13in. (49.5 x 33cm.)
