Built in 1899 especially for the Australia - Cape of Good Hope service, Medic was sold in 1928 and renamed Hektoria, a whale factory ship. She was torpedoed on 11th September, 1942 by U-608 in the North Atlantic.

Vertical tear from top right corner of paper down to mid quadrant of image. Small circular areas of staining and tear to mid left hand side of paper. Overall colour discolouration. Would benefit from a clean.

Medic
Vertical tear from top right hand corner down to bottom of image. Overall colour discolouration. Would benefit from a clean.
