approximately 97 by Kirk, Cowes, mostly signed and annotated some with ink stamp to reverse or blind embossing, comprising: X One Design, Seaview Mermaid, Solent Sunbeam, Victory; together with the Yarmouth One Design.

Alfred Westmacott (1868-1936) was a small boat designer and Managing Director of Woodnutt's Boatyard at St Helens, IoW. The Yarmouth One Design, produced initially at JS White in Cowes to a design of Harry Longmore, was very similar to Westmacott's X One Design, and the fleets often raced together in the early days.
