Sept. 1936, with Celtic knotwork strapping inset with amethyst, the interior lined for cigarettes, with pull out plush-lined jewellery tray, Birmingham hallmarks for 1935-6 -- 3½ x 9¾ x 5¼in. (9 x 24.7 x 13.5cm.)
Launched for John Kelly Ltd, the 661 ton Crossgar was a general cargo ship. In 1952 she was renamed Ballygrainey and was broken up by Viane, Holland, 1962.
