A 'Caledonia' Class ironclad designed by Isaac Watts in 1861, Prince Consort was named shortly before her namesake's untimely death, and served until 1882.

Condition Report
Fine overall condition with strong colours, good rigging and metal anchor chain. One or two loose ends to sea and sky; small repair(?) to mizzen mast standing rigging; one or two visible lines of running rigging loose. Possibly original frame, re-glazed.
