A VERY FINE EARLY 19TH-CENTURY NAPOLEONIC FRENCH PRISONER-OF-WAR PIERCED BONE WATCH STAND
the wooden base planked in bone and supporting two classical warriors holding metal lances with pennants and flanking a foliate fretwork surround to watch compartment securing with locating pins and hook, and cupola top with finials, the whole mounted on an ebonised base with glass dome cover. The stand -- 10 x 6in. (25.5 x 15cm.)
