Makers to the Admiralty, 7 PALL MALL, LONDON, varnished and mounted in a brass meridian set within a counter-signed horizon ring with removable altitude frame with indicator, contained in a teak box with instructions pasted inside lid -- 8in. Globe in fine condition, varnish yellowing commensurate with age, some minor scuffs/rubs to varnish which have not damaged print; box lid has single shrinkage crack through middle across diameter.
