the 4in. silvered dial signed as per title and inscribed 43 & 44 Canning Place, 6525, with government broad arrow mark, gold main and blued secondary hands, counter stamped on the back of dial, spotted plates with Earnshaw's standard balance, with blued helical balance spring, contained in gimbal-mounted brass bowl counter-numbered inside, and inscribed H.S.1 with arrow mark near winding hole, gimbal-mounted within three-tier wooden box with tipsy key and inset drop handles -- approx. 7½in. (19cm.) cubed
