A 1:48 SCALE MODEL OF THE NORTH AMERICAN TOPSAIL SCHOONER DIANA [1800]
modelled by J. Harrigan, the 16in. planked and framed hull with planked deck and painted fittings as appropriate, bound masts with standing and running rigging and full suit of sails, contained within glazed case with presentation plate -- 28 x 36 x 14in. (71 x 91.5 x 35.5cm.)
The Worshipful Company of Shipwrights, made in 1982 by J. Harrigan as an entry to the Company's Bicentenary Model Competition, awarded joint first prize and purchased from the maker.
