RUEBEN CHAPPELL (BRITISH, 1870-1940)

The four-masted steel barque Jordanhill was built by Russell in the port of Glasgow and launched on 9 February 1892. Weighing 2291 tons, she was originally owned by J.R. Dickson and Co. In 1920 she was sold to Stella d'Italia and renamed Augustella. A year later she was converted into a twin-screw vessel and then sold to the Spanish Navy. In 1922 she was renamed Minerva and served in the Spanish Navy. She was hulked in 1928 and broken up in 1937.
