the 3in. silvered dial signed and numbered Heron Greenock 197, Earnshaw escapement with blued-steel helical balance spring and heat compensation weights, set within gimballed bowl numbered '247' with domed-glass cover and set within three-tier mahogany box with drop handles (not running, old restoration) -- 6in. (15.2cm.) square approx.
