with ebonised wooden base supporting mirror, socket for square section shaft with spring slide stage, specimen clamp and three swivel lenses, contained in a dome-lidded fish skin covered case with green felt lining -- 4¼in. (11cm.) diameter; together with a card box containing ten 4-specimen slides, numbered 1,2,3,6,7,8 and 10, plus three unnumbered associated examples

Microscope: base thread to mirror rusted; case worn - possibly associated/earlier; slides: two specimens missing (one from No. 10 and one from an unnumbered type), second specimen from slide 1 missing a section, case missing both end pieces and in worn condition.
