Launched as M.V. Sloterdijk, she served much of the war as a troop carrier for U.S. troops. Returning to her peacetime commercial role her name was Anglicized to Sloterdyk in 1954. She was broken up at Bilbao in 1966.

Good overall condition, but missing builder's plate which was presumably removed when the name was changed in 1954 - witness holes in the base suggest where it was located.
