Sempel, Blyth G531 and inset silvered scale divided to 150°, contained within fitted wooden case complete with accessories including three sighting tubes, detachable shade and loup lens, the lid with owner's plate for Captain T. Adams, Folkestone, 1876 -- cased measurements 11in. (28cm.) square

Frame in unrestored or cleaned condition; a little light verdigris in areas but generally good; the silvered scale in good original condition; box appears to have complete set of accessories; lid has a horizontal shrinkage crack across middle.
