signed and inscribed on the 2½in. silvered dial Thomas Rubergall / Optn. to H.R.H. the Duke of Clarence / 24 Coventry St. London, silvered scale with vernier to edge of platform, needle clamp and spirit level, the sighting tube with cross wires and spirit tube over, mounted on arc with silvered scale and rack-and-pinion adjustment -- 6½ x 10½in. (16.5 x 26.5cm.)
