H.M.S. Barfleur, a destroyer, served in WWII as part of the task force 37 which carried out strikes against mainland Japan for two to three day stretches. She was a member of the 3rd fleet, the largest Armada the world has ever seen, and was present at the formal surrender of Japan in Tokyo Bay. Barfleur was the only battle class destroyer to see action in WWII.
H.M.S. Adventure laid minefields in the Orkney Islands and St. George's Channel in 1941. She was then used as a landing craft as well as a repair and accommodation ship for a year before being put in reserve in 1945.

All three in excellent condition; these pictures were commissioned from the artist by a collector who never displayed them and they have not been framed or subjected to sunlight.
