H.M.S. Warspite, a 'Queen Elizabeth' class battleship, holds more battle honours than any other individual ship to serve in the Royal Navy. Commissioned on 8th March 1915, she served at Jutland where she was damaged but was able to make it to port safely. In WWII, Warspite was nicknamed 'The Grand Old Lady' and served at the Battle of Narvik and the Battle of Calabria, where she achieved one of the longest range gunnery hits from a moving ship to a moving target. She was scrapped in 1950.
