A FINE SCRATCH-BUILT LIVE STEAM 1:8 SCALE RADIO CONTROLLED MODEL OF THE WINDERMERE STEAM LAUNCH BRANKSOME [1896]
modelled by D. Jacques circa 1978 from his own researches, with 71in. planked and framed hull secured with trennels, fully fitted interior, Stuart Turner double ten engine with Stephenson link reverse, mahogany lagged copper boiler, gearbox with reverse, 3in. diameter propeller, brass funnel, Windermere steam kettle, padded seats, tiled cabin concealing radio control and much other fine detail, mounted on cradle stand -- 20½ x 71 x 15in. (52 x 180.5 x 38cm.) Transit case; full data spec.
